Clothing
I'm not going to tell you what specific clothes to bring, because everyone is different. Just be aware of the weather in your area. For the record though, I wear leggings and a hoodie practically every day (shoutout to my dad for the fleece lined leggings so I can maintain this uniform in 20 degree weather)

Bedding

  • Twin XL down comforter
  • Two sets of twin XL sheets and pillow covers (jersey fabric is the best)
  • Mattress pad cover** -this adds a good layer of padding for extra comfort on the flimsy college mattresses they give you
  • Pillows - at least 2 
  • Accent pillows**
  • Quilt -shoutout to my nana for my amazing homemade quilt
  • Throw blankets 
  • Bedskirt** -if you want, this helps if you plan on using under your bed as storage space


Desk/Bedside

  • Lamp - a book light too, if you plan on reading in bed. Get one that clips to your bed frame
  • Bed Caddy** - this is great if you're in a lofted bed for holding your books and night time gear
  • Alarm Clock** - or use your phone!
  • Desk Organizer
Decor**
  • Picture Frames
  • Family photos/posters

  • Wall decals - your college may have rules against these
